Not suitable for in ground pools this pool cleaner was designed for intex above ground swimming pools with 1 1 2in hose fittings and attaches to the inlet connector in the pool with a 24ft 7in hose. Then inspect the hose for cracks or holes. Verify that the vacuum hose is firmly inserted into the inlet port at the skimmer. Auto pool cleaner is a hassle free solution as it effectively vacuums the entire pool floor automatically.

Vacuums come complete with a 24ft. Hose and attach easily to intex inlet connectors with 1 1 2in. I have an 18 round by 52 deep pool and this vacuum works extremely well. Requires a filter pump with a flow rate between 1 600 3 500 gph.

That is requires a pool filter pump that moves somewhere between 1 600 and 4 000 gallons of water per hour. The intex automatic pool cleaner will stop working if the filters are dirty. I was looking at much more expensive products but this one works just as well and because it s from intex it had a better chance or working with my intex pool. Because the intex automatic cleaner is designed to work on flat bottom pools it s not recommended for inground pools.

Pool cleaner is not cleaning. The suction hose for the vacuum has holes or it isn t fully connected. If your pool cleaner is moving around the pool normally but is not picking up debris the normal solution is to clear the clog in the suction throat or empty the debris bag or basket. The water level in the pool is too low.

Make sure the water is high enough to cover all the skimmers if there is more than one and all the return jets. Not withstanding any bad reviews you might have read this is a good product. Or 38mm hose fittings. Not suitable for in ground pools.
